The national team of Argentina won an international friendly match against 2018 World Cup hosts, Russia held in Moscow on Saturday. Argentinian player Sergio Aguero scored the late but lethal goal against Russia to ensure their victory. Aguero, the Manchester City’s record goalscorer headed the ball at his second attempt from close range.

Argentina dominated throughout the game, claiming 70% of possession and having 19 shots against Russia’s four shots. The game held that held in Moscow were witnessed by Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and Russian Deputy Prime Minister Vitaly Mutko, who is also the president of the Russian Football Union (RFU) at the Luzhniki Stadium along with a total of 80,000 spectators.
