Moises Henriques ,Travis Head and Jason Behrendorff guided Australia to thrash India for a eight wicket win at Guwahati’s Barsapara stadium in their second T20I on Tuesday.Australian bowlers did a splendid job as they restrict Indian team to 118/10 with one ball to spare.This win helps Australia level the three match series 1-1and the final match scheduled to be held on Friday in Hyderabad will be decider of the series.

Jason Behrendorff’s excellent bowling spell blew away the Indian top order, taking the wickets of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli in the 1st over itself and Manish Pandey and Shikhar Dhawan later.The left-arm seamer ended with figures of 4 for 21 and was instrumental in bowling out India for 118.

Adam Zampa scalped couple of wickets in the innings. He first deceived MS Dhoni who was stumped out by Tim Paine and then cleaned up Kedar Jadhav.Jadhav failed to read a googly from Zampa that came into the right-hander to dismantle his wicket.

For Indian team, Kedhar Jadhav took 27 runs and Hardik Pandya took 25 runs which helped  India cross the 100-run mark towards the end of the innings.

Australia too didn’t start the proceedings well as they lost openers Warner and Aaron Finch early in the chase but Travis Head and Moises Henrique took them all the way to victory.Henriques slammed his second fifty . Australians reached their target with ease,with 4.3 overs left.

Jason Behrendorff was awarded MAN OF THE MATCH.
