After a 40 run defeat in the last T20 International MS Dhoni came under great criticism by all the haters and others.Finishing touch from Dhoni was not provided by him,this provoked everyone.He came out to bat in the 10th over of the match,but he was not timing the ball well by the time he found the middle, the match was far gone.Everyone raised their voice,saying that Dhoni should retire from International cricket.
Sehwag once again proved that he is a very good analysts of the game by throwing his weight behind his former teammate MS Dhoni who is facing the heat.Sehwag came to his defence and said that India needs MS Dhoni and needs him even for the T20s.
“MS Dhoni should realise his role in the team.He should understand the game and change the gear early.Team management should make him understand him that he should score from the first ball.Team India need Dhoni in all format of the game.He will never block the way of any youngster,” Virender Sehwag told India TV in a conversation.
Very good to see Sehwag supports Dhoni while many turned against him.Keeping the T20 2020 World Cup in sight,many former cricketers too make sense when they say that youngsters should be prepared starting now.
