Saying Legendary just won’t cut it to describe the great Andrea Pirlo,who has announced retirement from his Professional football career once his contract ends with New York City FC this December.

The 38-year-old Italian legend,former AC Milan,Juventus player  believes that the time is now right to bring an end to the playing career. “You realise that the time has come,” he told “Every day you have physical problems, you cannot train as you want because you always have some problem.”

“At my age, that’s enough. It’s not that you can go on forever until the age of 50. I’ll do something else. At 38, it’s just right to give young players room. I’m not angry. Instead, I will give a hand to team-mates and to the coach.I’ll do something else, I’ll be back in Italy in December,” he said.

Pirlo also spoke on talks that he could go to England and join fellow countryman Antonio Conte at Chelsea but needed time to think.

Pirlo’s decision to bid adieu to his playing days garnered reaction from all across the globe as the entire football fraternity recalled his amazing service to the sport.

2006 World Cup,two Champions Leagues title,six Serie A Titles are Pirlo’s some achievements as a player.His famous Freekicks are going to be missed.
