India beat china in women’s Asia cup hockey and qualified for World cup 2018 after overcoming China 5-4 via a shootout.China found an equaliser through Tiantian Luo, who converted a penalty corner in the 47th minute.

 Navjot Kaur scored for India in the 25th minute of the game.After equaliser the following minutes saw both teams play at par with each other.They were not allowing either of them to stay in control of the game. With nine minutes left for the final hooter, India were desperately trying to find a gap in the 15-yard mark, but the Chinese defenders failed that attempt.

India seems to be more positive in the third quarter  as they stayed persistent with an aggressive attack. They dominated ball possession with g accurate passing.

Dribbling skills of Neha Goyal and Lilima Minz made the Chinese defense struggle but the second goal remained elusive.China stayed disciplined in their defence to deny India a chance to score through a penalty corner.
Meanwhile, China won their fourth PC of the match,but it was brilliantly saved by rusher Sunita Lakra just before 3 minutes for the final whistle and almost immediately, India launched a counterattack but still they missed a goal.

Savita was adjudged Goalkeeper of the Tournament.
