Team India’s current skipper marveled the eyes of cricket lovers with his stunning double hundred and become the only player in the history of cricket to score three double hundreds in ODIs. Rohit with his flawless show of absolute batting feast opened the floodgates of Facebook memes and WhatsApp saying that he needs a tab in his stats for number of 200s along with 50s and 100s. But it’s all happened in the field and far before his historic double ton, Rohit became a hero off the field too which showed his impeccable humanity and helping nature.

Mohammed Nilam a traveling fan of Sri Lankan cricket team along with his friends Gayan Senanayake and Pubudu were in India to support their team. But during the last test match, Mohammed Nilam got a call from his home and asked him to return to Colombo where his father is suffering with cancer. But unfortunately NIlam was well short of money for a return journey and become clueless on what to do. When Rohit came to know about Nilam’s Dillema, he promptly came to the rescue and he immediately called up a travel agent and booked him on the first possible flight, bearing the entire expenses.

“Rohit called me to the team hotel and gave me the [R20,000 approx] ticket,” Nilam was quoted as saying by Mid-Day. Moreover soon after Nilam reached Colombo, Virat Kohli, who tied the knot with Anushka Sharma in Italy, texted the fan to see if everything was okay.cricket fans all around the word started praising  the kind gestures of Virat and Rohit and made them a heroes in real life too.
