Arsene Wenger stated that Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez will not leave Arsenal in this January transfer window unless something “unbelievable” happens. Both Ozil and Sanchez are in the end of final year of their contracts and will be able to discuss terms with other clubs in January than of a potential free transfer at the end of the season.

Rumors of  the transfer of these two players came to an end after this statement. Speculations were suggested that Arsenal would be willing to listen to offers for the two in January.

Both Sanchez and Ozil are key figures for Wenger. The 28 years old Chile forward Sanchez, who arrived in Arsenal on 2014 from Barcelona. He had scored 56 goals in 113 appearances. The 29 years old German had produced 45 assists since his debut in September 2013, which is more than any other Premier League player.

Wenger Said “As long as they both are here, they will give their best for Arsenal. Both of them will stay until the end of this season, Unless something unbelievable happens. I don’t thing it will happen.”

When asked about their future in the club after this season, Wenger replied ” I am not the only one who decide that, They have to decide that as well.”
