Real Madrid’s Portuguese legend Cristiano Ronaldo says he wants to leave Real Madrid and favour a move back to Manchester United, according to reports in Spain and Portugal this morning.

The reports suggests that recent tax allegations are the main reason behind Ronaldo’s decision to leave Real Madrid and joins again in the English Premiere League.

The reports also says that Ronaldo discussed about his departure with club president Florentino Perez and club director Jose Angel Sanches.

Portuguese daily newspaper A Bola has also claimed the Real Madrid striker is frustrated by Spanish tax authorities as he was charged with allegedly evading £13million in tax.

The four-time Ballon d’Or winner feels that he was persecuted by the press and the media doesn’t tried to understand his innocence in the tax allegations.

“They (press) treat me like a aberrant and they don’t even know me,” said the Portuguese star

Despite Los Blancos’ backing with the statement that they were ‘absolutely convinced of the innocence’ of Ronaldo, star felt a lack of protection from the club regarding the tax scandal.

It is reported that Ronaldo wants to go back to his old home Old Trafford from where he can join with the red devils. But French giants Paris Saint-German and Monoco are also in race for the star grab.

According to the reports, 180 million euro is the demanded fee for the Portuguese star and the team buying Ronaldo should spent a total amount of 400 million Euro when adding the star’s salary and other expenses.

Ronaldo had a magnificent journey with Real Madrid this season winning the Spanish La Liga and the champions league.
