Spanish Finance ministry has informed that Real Madrid’s Portuguese super star Christiano Ronado is to experience 5 year jail sentence. The ministry has also alleged that the player has done tax evasion of crores in the time period of 2011-13.
Ronaldo has evaded more than 8 to 15 million without any reckoning according to the experts of Spanish finance ministry. The experts have also alleged that this will come under criminal tax case and detailed that Cristiano’s illegal activities caused Spanish government to loose 6 million Euro.
The note released by Spanish Finance ministry states that, if the crime is proven in the court, each crime can get 2 to 6 years jail sentence, and if it is experienced in once, the jail period can be lessened to 5 years. Ronaldo and his financial guide were called as a part of investigation. Earlier, the Spanish court has given Barcelona’s Argentina player, Lionell Messi, 21 months of jail sentence and 20 lack euro fine for the same case.
