Indian Super League in its grand return of the 4 Season. This year the league has grown bigger and longer than ever. The Season was kicked off yesterday at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi.

In the opening match the defending Champions ATK faced last years runners up Kerala Blasters at Keralas home ground. The new season was started from where it have stoped last year. The rivalry between ATK and Blasters begins from the first season of ISL. In the First ever ISL ATK defeated Blaster  to crown the first ever champions of ISL. Last year history was again repeated and again ATK became the ISL champions.

The match was interesting and the ground was rich with the audience. The first big chance was in the 13th minute where ATK’s Hitesh Sharma was in a good position to take a shot, but the experienced Paul Rachubka had pulled off a save to make sure there was no scoring.

Nemanja Lakic Pesic’s performance was excellent and he was selected as the Hero of the Match. There was chances for both ATK and Blasters. But no one could find the target. Even though the game  ended  in  a goalless draw the match was thrilling and once again the Kochi saw’s the beauty of football.
