India’s head coach Anil Kumble put a series of demands in front of BCCI that aims to restructure the support staff circle and alter the current financial trends of BCCI. Anil Kumble made two specific types of demands to the CoA (Committee of Administrators), appointed to oversee the functioning of the BCCI.

In one hand Kumble had placed before BCCI, some key demands that call for radical changes in the support staff panel. Kumble wants Sajay Bangar(currently  team India’s  Batting coach) to be appointed as India’s Assistant Coach and R.Shridhar, the present Fielding Coach to be maintained in the position.

On the other hand Kumble alsom made some rare demands that alter the payment scale of Indian players and coaches. He suggests that the annual pay should be raised for all. Besides Indian team, India A team and the National Cricket Academy shall come under the supervision of the Chief Coach.

Mr. W.V.Raman must be appointed as the Academy’s Batting Coach and Mr.Narendra Phirvani, the Bowling Coach.

According to Kumble, team India needs a fast bowling coach, Fielding Coach as well as Computer Analyst in the support staff panel. He had also advised modifications in the annual payment of the players. Kumble demands to maintain distinct pacts with Test, ODI and T20 players and also argues for a pay hike. According to Kumble’s terms, Virat Kohli would receive Rs.6,25,00,000 annually. BCCI will take final decision ovee Kumble’s suggestions in the annual meeting going to be held in September.
