Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has been charged by Football Association with misconduct following his dismissal against Swansea on Wednesday. He was sent to the stands in the 43rd minute of  the match of Chelsea against Swansea. His team was victorious for a score of 1-0.

The dispute begins with the referee’s decision not to award a corner to his team when the game was goalless. He watched the entire second half on a dressing room TV.

The Football Association says “Conte has time 6 PM on Tuesday evening to respond to his charge.”

After the match Conte apologized for his behavior at Stamford Bridge. He said: “I was frustrated. I made a mistake. During the game I suffer. With my players I suffer. It’s a pity. I apologies for this.”

During the match Conte was sent to the stands by referee Neil Swarbrick. The fourth official Lee Mason called for a goal kick for Swansea rather than a Chelsea corner. He was send after a number of complaints. This was for the first time Conte was dismissed from the touchline in his Chelsea career.

Even though in the absence of the Conte, Chelsea was victorious over Swansea. Antonio Rudiger scored for Chelsea in the 55th minute.
