It was a amazing and impressive year for Cristiano Ronlado which got him The Best FIFA Men’s Player the second straight year on Monday night.Messi was again behind Ronaldo being the second most favorite this year and Neymar was the third favorite.Ronaldo is also favorite to  claim a fifth Ballon d’Or award, which would draw him level with long-time Barcelona rival Messi.

The Best FIFA Men’s Player prize was created just over a year ago following the divorce between FIFA and Ballon d’Or host France Football.

This title was well deserved by Roanldo as he scored two goals in Real’s 4-1 win over Juventus in the Champions League final ,also found the net 25 times in 29 appearances as his club won La Liga for the first time in five years and led Portugal to victory at Euro 2016.

“We are in England for the first time, and I win it for the second consecutive time. This is a great moment for me,” Ronaldo told the ceremony audience at the London Palladium.

Zidane won the men’s coach of the year ahead of Chelsea’s Antonio Conte and Juventus’s Massimiliano Allegri.“I’d like to thank all of the players for making this possible,” said Zidane. “This is a very special prize” he added.

Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon won the best goalkeeper award,this was his first.

The best goal of 2017 was, officially, scored by Arsenal’s Giroud. Converting a superb ‘scorpion’ kick volley in which he flicked an Alexis Sanchez cross from behind him over his shoulder and into the goal, via the crossbar, with his left heel.
