And finally all the confusions regarding the appointment of new coach for team India has come to an end. Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC) member Sourav Ganguly on Saturday announced that the interview to select the new India coach will be held on July 10 in Mumbai.

“The interview will be held on July 10 in Mumbai and probably we can announce the new coach on that day,” Ganguly told reporters at CAB before leaving for London to attend MCC’s World Cricket committee meeting at the Lord’s on July 3 and 4.

When BCCI had advertised the post, the last date to send application was May 31. Then the BCCI has decided to invite more applications for the post of Indian team’s coach to give Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC) a wide range of options for picking a suitable candidate. Currently July 9th is the deadline to apply for the coach’s job.

There were reports suggesting that BCCI has extended the date just to help the former team director Ravi shasthri to follow the procedures. Earlier shasthri revealed that he would apply for the post only if he get a promise to be appointed as the coach of team India .

Virender Sehwag, Tom Moody, Lalchand Rajput, Richard Pybus and Dodda Ganesh are the other big names who have also applied. Facilities
